FVT Regional Training — One Day Event

The Florida Verified Tour is back in Central Florida for an exclusive one-day regional training event. Open to Middle School athletes (6th–8th grade), High School athletes (9th–12th grade), and uncommitted/committed 2026 players looking to sharpen their game. Come train, compete, and develop alongside some of the best in the business.

FVT Regional Training Day
Wekiva High School Baseball Field Complex | May 16, 2026

The Florida Verified Tour's Regional Training Event brings a premier pro-style development experience to Central Florida. Athletes of all skill levels will participate in a structured workout and scrimmage directed by expert coaches and a professional evaluator.
Athletes will participate in:
Training Format & Session Structure
Pro-Style Workout Phase
  • Positional Drills: Athletes move through position-specific skill stations designed to build fundamentals and versatility
  • Throwing & Velocity Work: Arm strength and mechanics evaluated and coached in real time
  • Batting & Exit Velocity: Live hitting evaluations with immediate feedback from coaching staff
  • Speed & Athleticism: Sprint timing and athletic movement assessed across all participants
Scrimmage & Situational Phase
Following the workout, athletes transition into a coached scrimmage featuring focused situational baseball:
  • Live game reps with coaching staff directing from the field
  • Pitchers managing counts and working through situations
  • Defensive communication, relays, and team execution
Coaches pause live action to teach—delivering feedback in real time so players understand not just what happened, but why it matters.

What will you gain from this session?
Athletes will train under the direct guidance Daytona Beach Christian University coaching staff, players will experience a level of instruction and evaluation typically reserved for elite showcases and college programs. Alongside DM Pitching LLC and Martin Cabrera, a current professional trainer and evaluator who spent his career in the Colorado Rockies organization, earning the 2024 Scout of the Year distinction.
